  • The Holy Grail of battery technology?

It seems like dog years since we saw the transition from nicad to lithium poly batteries. This current technology has been an enabler and driver for foam airplane development. We might not have the lineup of scale edf’s we keep getting from MRC/ Freewing without that single development.

But now, we want more. More is better !

We want higher power to weight ratios. We want longer flight times, safer chemistry, shorter charge time. In fact, we want it all!

So, who will disrupt the current state of affairs ?

Check out this article. I think they are on to something:

Hawk................That was covered here back in April by Beeg but thanks for the revisit under a intriguingly different thread title ;)

      Oh well,
Never saw that discussion. Sorry for the redundancy then. Sigh
