I was wondering if it is possible to use a 5s battery on this plane even though it is recommended for a 6s....Will it damage the battery?.....

The motor on the Intruder has a 1750kV motor rated for 6S which gives it a formula driven 38850 rpm. RPM = 3.7v (S) x 6S x 1750kV
The 5S will net 32375 RPM which is a drop of 6475 rpm or greater than 15% loss of power.Warbird Charlie
