Anyone know who manufactures Admiral batteries?

    RE: Admiral batteries

Yes, but why would you want to know? All you need to do place an order with MotionRC.

Isn't there value in MotionRC having found a supplier and is now offering this to us the consumer? It took time effort and money to select the OEM. And I'm sure there are some contractual requirements that must be followed to ensure quality. MotionRC is well with in their rights to keep this hard earned information to themselves. Shouldn't they benefit from the effort by charging for this in the Admiral brand.

If you want to go direct to the OEM spend your money on buying samples from the 2 dozen or so OEMs and filter out those that don't meet your requirements. They work up a business arrangement with the OEM . I think you will find that you are spending a lot more money and effort than if you had bought the batteries direct from MotionRC.

Still at a loss as to the question. Why ask? And on the vendor's forum site!

Do you ask FMS or Freewing who supplies them with their raw foam stock?

    Really!

If you wish to further discuss I will be more than happy to put my phone # on here

What is the issue, with my calling him out? The Admiral batty question was asked to under mine the sales of MotionRC. The OP asks in hopes that he can find the same quality product at less cost. It cost MotionRC time and money to find an OEM and brand it. Guys are always trying to find cheeper Thunder Power, Revolx and Neu cells. Yet aren't willing to do the leg work. Go to the OEMs, spend the money, time and energy to find the best batteries.

Then try to bring them to the public with no benefit to yourself. They called that socialism it didn't work to well!

MotionRC deserves to make a profit from their efforts to find the battery that best fits their customer. It is a prick that tries to make an end round around these efforts!

        All the best,
        Konrad

How did you come up with all that your saying ? Did you read it ? Do you have some kind of vision that none of us has ?

I read 95% of comments you have left most with negative replies . I noticed a question on the board about the forum seems to be slowing down . People like you are keeping new people from asking questions . They look for info or help and you seem to want to smash and ridicule on most of your comments . Back off your not superior

            RE: Admiral batteries

Most of what I post is from my real live experience with electric powered aircraft since 1986. And as part of my professional life. No vision, just hard earned experiences, with some factual backing, from the school of hard knocks. My comments for the most part are dry and hard. This is quite different from negative. In this post it looks like the OP is trying to find the easy way to get the quality that MotionRC worked so hard to find and nourish the business relationship to bring to us the consumer. So I can out swinging when I see this kind of robbery on the net. No apologies given for wanting MotionRC to make a profit and still be here when I need them.

I've made a concerted effort not to say you or anybody else is wrong. I just make hard points in favor of what I see as a correct solution. I hope I've made it clear that there is often more than one solution.

I also try to make it clear on what assumptions I'm making with I post an answer. This is not to make the OP appear dumb. It is done so that he understand what I though his question was leading to. Or more to the point explain why my answer looks stupid.

My PM record seems to indicate that the newbies seek out my input. And then there is this thread.
            http://www.hobbysquawk.com/Thread-FMS-F3A-Olympus-1400mm-55-Wingspan-PNP?page=4

If, and thats a big if, I kill threads it is because I answer the question with little ambiguity.

If your 95% comment really was aimed that my style is dry and not very soft or accommodating, well that might have some validity. Like I've said before, I post to exchange information not be a social substitute for the time at the field.(not that there is anything wrong with field banter).

            All the best,
            Konrad

              RE: Admiral batteries

So you all know, I was not trying to buy batteries directly from the supplier (I also don't have time to deal with that since they are most likely in China), I was just curious since I am having a survey on which LiPos are the best and wanted to know if other online hobby shops used the same supplier for their own branded batteries.

              Thanks

Not really the same question as first posted.
Yes, other battery suppliers use the same cell OEM as MotionRC for their own brand of batteries.
Reply #4 in this thread from Alpha should answer all your question.

Again, please define what you are looking for so that other (myself included) can see what is out there that meets that definition so we can narrow down what is the best.

                  ss0028,
No problem. I thought your question was good. If i had known the answer to " Anyone know who manufactures Admiral batteries? " I could have been like your question, answered in 6 words or less.
