  • I'm quite sure for direct drive coaxial being able to grind ID's and OD's on custom shafts will pay dividends so I'm looking at the right tool post grinder for the job.

Thank you for your time and patience

I see the jokes in Germany have ended. Now you on lock on American social media trying to learn something about machining expert!
I'll show you the work this grinder made in the USA can do on your raggedy dirty lathe.....

Thanks for your time and patience.

      • I spent alot of time studying with James Allen in his mechanical masters class. You think you know something but I don't think you do.
here are a few photos of the precision tapered collets made for his 7.2hp 32,000 .90 all billet nitro motor od grinded with the Themac he told me to purchase and so I will. I miss my friend This machine can perform any shaft magic with precision. James was brothers with Henry Nelson. If you know anything about fast airplane then you should know who that is. James was also best friends with Ed Kalfus. You can be from any country or nationality you want these men are from nobody's in mechanical engineering and 2 stroke engine building. Jim rubbed shoulders with Jan Thiel. Look him up! if you really think you are that sharp.

Was ist also los? Was ist los?

This is a "master's" gift for the "expert"

            • Ralph this is for you and your friends in Germany about my motor from Brenner Contra Drives

              Hey Hugh,

I swapped out the stator in the motor I have been running and flew your rewound stator yesterday. It works very well. The performance is identical to that of Bert Dekker's motors. The efficiency is also very good.

I can't properly judge motor efficiency without flying the motor on separate days under different weather conditions because there was very little wind yesterday, and the amplitude and direction of the wind significantly affect power consumption. However, with very little wind, I recorded a flight with the lowest energy consumption I have ever seen with my setup, 2600mah for the P25 schedule. Typical power consumption for P25 is 3800mah. I will continue flying with this motor to collect more information about motor efficiency.

The motor also ran cool as well. With an ambient temperature of 28C, the motor was 65C on the outside of the rotor.

He said its identical but recorded the best consumption numbers ever so ill have to see the newer data later to come.... I dont believe it will be identical but a Clugh thing because I believe it runs cooler than an endfest potted motor. They aren't going to dissipate heat identically no way...

                          • The stator is so beautiful I dont want to touch it, I want to fit a winding that exceeds the Kontronics factory 650 competition motor copper fill levels without removing any enamel, Id rather my time be spent fitting the wire than prepping the stator so it easily fit. If I can avoid slot liners like Kapton and Nomex and the endplates, Thats what Ill go for every time. It leave me with only one thermal interface to worry about. The stator to the copper. I think its possible if the edges are broken on the silicon steel to wind on it bare, That would be the best thing to thermally couple the windings to. If the windings are securely held in place I think a person could get away with it for max slot space and thermal manage management of the machine. It's not over yet my boys. I have more masters cooling tricks up my sleeve to deal with the village expert on the German social media . I can increase the thermal conductivity across the air gap and into the external radiator ribbing on the bell by 400 percent. That would complete thermal coupling from the stator to the external bell heatsink. A maser would look at a better heatsink than ribbing and possibly amend to a deep knurl or diamond cut the bell for more surface area.

Endfest? Does the last 4 users specify no securing of their wires? You haven't shown one potted since I went down this road... whats wrong you don't want to copy the black troll ? My answer to any scorpion 45 would be a Neu 46 series with a better topology and higher efficiency all together... We know we make more torque and have higher saturation points. We have a special magnet retention alloy that can be shrunk over the bell and give us extended RPM range if we need that but 12,000 rpm will be good for most direct drive setup anyway. It doesn't make sense to run a large external hi pole rotor at high RPMs as that loses all the advantage it brings. On a George Mirov high pitched sawblade this motor in OEM form can deliver it at 90% efficiency and well over 6 grams of thrust per watt. at 0nly 69 amperes. At that performance level 3000 wats equals 18Kg of thrust that's right at 40 pounds for an American. Wind your 45s but please pot them because they were truly a failure anyway in the scorpion line. We can read the German. review you gave on them many times..

Do you see the iron cooling? It is a more efficient machine off the bench in the first place, Some cobras post a max ETA of 95%. It is a gorgeous 14 pole machine that could be modified to the flussperren 14 pole cut which is your dream machine

                                      • He can call me any racist name he chooses on German social media but I want the Anercan pilots and his friend in Germany to understand I got his ass on speed dial. Whenever I post..and my.numbers are much better than his....to his face...u can crown him but he evokes exactly nothing but these better motors with his epithet !! It's totally useless fur better performance.

He can call me a n#####r and I laugh 🤣 because his motor still is not better than mine.

Now im done with it because we have much much larger fish to fry this year.

Bye Bye. Because like I said b4 he can't feed me if he wanted to. So enjoy his lies on RGC and HELIFREAKS who I'm finding out bans every body for stupid crap anyway. Gerds Crocoword as you can see has No issue with his epithet signature though. History has shown the plane driven by hate loses every time so why anyone would want something from someone that stands for that in their plane and call themselves an American is beyond me. Just make sure you keep soliciting his NAZI service because I dont have anything for you and I mean that!!!

Your German expert is subscribed to school here in America and just be running his mouth. He is still pulling hard on the wire.clearly.
