  • Quick tip for 6S models

Most of you probably have this already, otherwise something I have come up with and use a lot:

When setting up a new 6S model or working on it, I have made a lead with XT60->XT90 approx 12" (30cm) long that I use a 3S or 4S small 1800mAh battery to power the model. I use XT90 connectors on my 6S batteries. It's easy to keep the battery on the bench or inside the battery bay with not so high voltages resulting in "sparks" every time I connect/disconnect the battery. It can drive all servos and test the motor with less worries compared to working with the 4 and 5Ah bricks. With the new Mig-29 it will definitely be much nicer to work with small batteries until outside at the field.
