    What is the difference? The receivers are JR 10 channel SPCM and have Ch 57 on them. So it must be FM? The Transmitter is a JR 9303 with a regular antenna and is PCM/ SPCM, mode selectable

    Your assumption that it is an FM frequency based operation is correct.
    PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) is the method used to encode the transmitted stick position values to your RX.
    SPCM is a newer PCM encoding scheme, and uses 1024 steps of resolution.
    You would select the SPCM on the Tx to match the Rx
