  • AR 636/ DX9 problem

Hi folks. New to site and beyond frustrated with this problem. EFlite Timber X with AR 636 installed. Bound my Spektrum DX9 with out a problem except no throttle response at all. But, when you turn off the transmitter, the motor will turn at full speed. Turn the transmitter back on and the motor will shut down. In either case the throttle stick has no command authority over the motor function. I have never ever had this problem before with Spektrum or Futaba. Any thoughts? Receiver was bound with the ttl stich in off position and the ttl trim all the way down.

It almost sounds like your throttle is reversed so that when you initialize it, the RX senses full throttle and will not arm. Once the TX signal is gone, it doesn't care. Try reversing the throttle in the servo menu. Also, do all the other sticks work? You might want to play with this plane with the prop off till it works the way it's supposed to. It could be a real surprise if the plane suddenly moved on you and carve up a limb.
