I just finished programming my first AR637T on my DX9 and can't get the AS3X gain screen that is added in telemetry on the TX to show actual gains. I programmed 25 AR636's over the last several years and on a DX9 (and most others) you can add on the telemetry menu AS3X which will allow you to access an AS3X screen on your TX via roller that shows the FM you are in, the gains on R/P/Y, the Actual gains for each the RX is putting out and the Heading Gain. These screens are active when bound to a RX that is on. Other screens show Flight Log and anything you program the telemetry to show. With the AR636, the screen works perfectly. When I finished programming the AR637T and added the screen, it's now there but doesn't show any gains across the board, just dashes. The way the AR637T comes with "factory reset", the gains are not active until the throttle is advance to about 25%, which I notice from how the surfaces move only after initial throttle advance, but still the screen only shows dashes. I know the gains are programmed in, from looking at them in the "Forward Programming" menu and the way the surfaces react. I've looked everywhere in the manuals and watched all the HH programming videos, but that telemetry screen is not mentioned anywhere for the AR637T (only old ones for the AR636). I'm assuming that if you can get it with the AR636, doesn't make sense that you can't with the new AR637T since it has 10 times the features and ability to program in many ways.
Also added a satellite receiver, the 9747 with an internal antennae, but wonder what is the difference (and which is better) between that and the 4651 with dual diversity antennae, which I also have as a spare. The HH descriptions don't tell me much and they haven't responded to my questions.
I know this is relatively new, but if anyone can steer me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. The screen is not all that important, but I always check it first prior to take-off to make sure the gains are "active" and are correct.
