What about the Gloster Javelin ?

the de Havilland sea vixen it looks to be a pretty straightforward design motion RC already makes a twin Boom Jet, this would just be a little bit bigger. I hope this plane sees the light of day
Durafly did a Sea Vixen a few years ago in 70mm fan size.
It is a quite accurate representation of the full size and flies really well, so it definitely can be done. I’d love to see it in 80mm or 90mm.

      • Aros, and all other fans of the Blackbird, I just saw this on the Aerotetris FB page... Definitely looks intriguing, and huge! Would love to see a Freewing SR-71 or A-12 sometime in the future as well.

        • Ooooooooo sign me up! I wonder what the 2800 refers to? A Freewing SR-71 or A-12 would be mind-blowing! That and a Concorde of course.

An A-12 Oxcart would be about the only alternative to have a Blackbird due to the construction materials/color issues. But you might want to specify Oxcart, because there is another A-12:

              • The 2800 is the length in mm, I am in the FB page and Whatsapp group xD. He even offers 3 sizes of the SR-71 and actually of nearly all his models.

                  • Big and fast how about a XB-70 Valkyrie. Huge with Mach 3 speed. Or a B-58 Hustler. I doubt we'll see those, but it would be very interesting.

Nice...I wonder how difficult it would be to build one?

                      • There are plenty of build threads in the "other" forum, like the name implies its just many foam slices that are glued together and glassed usually, its quick and lightweight

That was a great read. Thanks for pointing that out!. I do totally agree with the philosophical reflections of this hobby and our part in it. I believe if one has been in this hobby long enough, one has passions for different types of planes. Some folks are all over the spectrum. I am passionate about military warbirds, and I favor USMC warbirds. ;)

Ps if anyone would like some photos of specific Airforce planes like the B-58, or the XB-70 let me know, I live 10 minutes from Wright Patterson Airforce Museum and I don't need much of an excuse to go see airplane porn with my sons!

                                LOL

                                  • I see mrc is going to carry the ngh gas engines. that is nice, I have a 38cc 4 stroke I got from a guy in the east and I love it … 4 stroke sound without the huge 4 stroke price.
