  • Customizing (Painting) your Foam RC Aircraft

Hey guys. With every new release, we always love to see people coming up with their own liveries. The L-39 has been no different so I asked someone who over the past 2 years has customized countless aircraft to film themselves and the processes they use. RC Pilot Jeremy Solt (a great asset to the Motion RC customer family) happily was up to the challenge and documented how he goes about customizing an aircraft.

Obviously, there are more than a few "right" ways to take on this task, but for anyone looking for help then I believe this video is a great starting point. Share your processes, tips, and tricks on how you do it so we can build this wealth of knowledge and hopefully push some pilots who have been undecided if they are up to the challenge to just dive right in!

Big thanks again to Jeremy Solt. I personally had feared a custom camo livery (usually just do a blanket paint coat and callie graphics) but now I am ready to give it a go!
