This looks to be a injection mold die with the bite clamps around the perimeter. Was thinking main or tail wheel...the opening in the center looks like it could house landing gear of some short.

Since y'all were so generous with your guesses, I'll show the other side to hopefully help answer the question.

The mold halves are machined from solid billet (big and heavy) then hand finished. As the positive side shows on the right, there is much internal intricacy not visible in the finished product when viewed from the outside. Making a mold is both a science and an artform, not to mention using the mold properly with tuned recipes for optimum return.

It's a twin fan so I would have to say F-14 as well.

Definitely a twin but the shape of the intakes is confusing me. Doesn't look right for the F14 or SU35.

With the second picture showing a size reference to a person.... That would a huge nose gear!

Looks like it might be the L-39.
Fold the two halves over and you got yourself an Albatross!

Yeah, after further consideration I think I agree with Vic. L-39. Talk about complex! Just to the right of her head looks like the cockpit tub.

I never looked at it like that, with it being both halves. Yep, I agree on L39. Good job Ace!
