I have one of those sitting on my shelf, it's the yellow version and still on nitro but I would like to convert it to electric, can you give me some info on your setup?

I saw it there last year! Was really cool to see it in person. Took a lot of reference photos!

DCorsair, I will have to dig into it a bit more to give you details. It was already converted when I purchased it, and I’m not sure where the setup came from. You might consider posting a wanted ad for an electric conversion kit on www.scalerchelis.com. Those guys would know where to find them if they are out there.

Almost threw a couple planes in the car for after work, but evening winds didn’t look favorable and dog usually is doing his potty dance by the time I get home anyway. But now that means I have tomorrow off - the Ryan should make a few passes in the early morning hours.
But on a side note, it is kinda of cool when your office is on the flight line in an area where the military operates using the ‘hide in plain site’ technique. Probably from TX or FL I’m guessing.

          • I need to get back down to the Phoenix metro and visit your flying field again, F22. It was fun flying from a different runway than my usual one.

Any word yet on the dates for the 2020 Arizona Electric Festival?

They're from Trawing One, NAS Meridian, Mississippi. Did you get a tour?!

I cannot confirm or deny I was escorted during the aircraft familiarization...

                      • Well, dang. I'll have to miss it next year. We'll be finishing up a week of scuba diving in Cozumel for our 40th anniversary.

Well, We’re only about 30 min farther north - maybe you can make one of other events I posted. Would be great to finally meet you.

It's not too bad a drive from Tucson, anyway. We were up in the Phoenix Metro a couple of weeks ago on a fabric shopping expedition for my wife's next quilt class. (She supports my hobbies, and I support hers. :) ) I just drove out for two days of this year's Electric Festival. We'll have to plan a Saturday or Sunday to meet out there this fall.

                            • Did any of you guys know that Marc Themudduck is flying one of these Dynam Black Widows? Sharp looking airplane, and I believe a considerable amount of work went into making it airworthy. Today at E-Jets and Warbirds, Deer Creek State Park, Ohio.

                              • Much happier with the landing on today's Stinger flight.

I had a few friends complain the sound of the EDF on the camera was a bit annoying, so I muted the camera sound this time and added music.

                                  • Flew the Hobby king tundra and the E-Flite Timber as a vs video I really enjoyed both models but each has there ups and downs. I like the battery hatch and quick connection for the wing on the tundra. But the timber flys better in my opinion. The timber’s battery tray being on the bottom is such a pain in the but. If they could make it a top hatch that plane would be perfect. Also I love the lights on the timber. Anyway be looking for the video on our YouTube channel I really enjoyed both planes.

I really resisted buying this thing, but I have built so many Monogram 1/48th kits, I just had to get one... And I have the B-26 and the Rock Hobby P-39 and the FMS P-39, so extra props abound!!!! LOL Looks nice. I am going to do the OD scheme and have it have more chips and weathering than the birdcage Corsair!!! Ha!!! It will look like a junk pile!!! Nice job Marc!!! Cover that thing up!!! It needs night time!!! LOL
