You have to right click on the post # located in the upper right corner of the post then click on copy shortcut and past it like I did below
        Here's the correct link:

For me your post is located on page 15 and not page 8 as you linked it
That's so weird, both of them take me to the same page, go figure, anyway, thanks for the redirct CB, appreciate it.

        • Hey Jack Flight School was great, Dave is a great guy and it's money definitely well spent. It's fly fly fly all day, he makes it look so easy, especially when the wind is blowing stronger than anything I'd dare fly in!
You always walk away with a wealth of information, then it takes a bit of time to settle in when you get home.

Thanks boomer, it's one of my favorites for sure! Just flew it twice more this evening and it was a blast!

                • After weeks of cold and rain and strong winds, was relatively mild today. Went through nearly half gallon of glow fuel in my Somehtin" Extra and a couple of flights on my Twisted Hobbys Crack Yak 32 to boot. Woo-hoo!

Well, here I am, quietly minding my own business having a bit of a 3D session and maiden of the new mustang, when one of my clubmates turn up with this MONSTER!!! Omg... :eyeswide

cost:$200,000 Aussie money. (Yep, you read that right - two...hundred...grand...).
Servos: $16,000 euros. (Whatever that works out to be).
Engine: some massive rotary thing that needs a huge radiator and a 3rd dude on a laptop to fly it.
Weight: depending on the load: up to 50-60kg.

these guys have a business doing aerial survey work, and this has been custom built for the big mining companies up in the remote northwest of oz. it's got a massive range, (20 litre fuel tank), 4K cameras and sensors all over it - and carries all this specialist mining survey equipment underneath, depending what they are looking for. (Hence the long legs). Completely blew my mind....

they were just doing some hover testing today, yes I got a little vid I'll post when I have time. Just amazing.... :saywha

I first saw one of these out of Japan a few years ago. They were using it for commercial crop dusting. And yup, that price is about right. You have to be a very serious hobbyist to buy one of those.

I put in some working nav lights and raked the gear forward to prevent noseovers and she was good to go. I was very surprise how straight it tracks on takeoff, it's power is pretty scale and it handles great.

                                      • Wow,

That mega heli is awesome. The radiator thing on the front almost looks like some kind of scoop collector and screen to sample aggregate. Like panning for gold with a drone. Even at that price tag, it's probably a lot less than using full scale helis. Must be a pretty good ROI.
                                        Currently flying: Twin 80mm A-10, 80mm F5, 80mm A6, 70mm Yak-130, 70mm F-16v2,90mm Stinger 90, 70mmRC Lander F9F, Flightline F7F TigerCat, Phoenix 46 size Tucano, Flyzone L-39
