The blanking doesn't cause an oscillation, it just makes the elevator feel less responsive, since they're not "grabbing" the air as effectively. I notice it on the Freewing 80mm F-5, also. Just don't set your flaps past the point where their TE is lower than the LE of your full flying stab.

I insert a credit card between the stab and fuse as I'm tightening the collar. This helps preserve the gap between the stab and fuse so they don't touch.

It is a lot of fun and challenges/improves the flying skills. During the Winter months here our club goes indoors one day a week to keep flying. It helps to keep some of us addicts going. ;)

It's been in the 60s last few days and have been flying the new P-47 and Tigercat everyday, I love these larger birds...180 days.

Bummer, rain this weekend in Arizona, just like last weekend. This is our flying season here as we are generally in the 60's during the day, but it's been a wet winter this year.

Gosh if I had a runway like that right behind my house, I would never get any work done, ever. Or any sleep, either. Night flying!

Maidened my new Super Cub and brought out the mini. It has been almost 80 degrees and very little wind all week here. Still have my T28 to maiden after the rain this weekend.

I snuck in a few flights on my daughter's Timber. Did a little hovering in the wind and some mild acro. It was fun. Had both a hatcam and onboard cam and kludged together a composite video of the three flights: https://youtu.be/iEFMrjWi2Iw

Suprisingly, the weather turned out nice today, so I tossed some gear in the Tahoe and headed to the field. I Flew my EFlite P-47 six times, EFlite Timber 3 times, FlightLine Ta-152 twice, and EFlite Pulse 15e once. Had a lot of fun. Here's a video of a short flight of my P-47D.
