I was somewhat interested in this plane when Flex first announced it but I didn’t have such tiny 6s batteries and I didn’t want to buy any just for one plane. Would it take a bigger 6s battery, say a 3000mah? They’re sold out now anyway, so no worries anymore.
When you say “so so speed”, is it not as fast as they hype it up to be? Looking at the vids on the Flex site, it doesn’t really seem all that much faster than my old 4s Funjet and not nearly as fast as my 6s Rare Bear.

Its about 150 or so with the 20kts wind to the tail end. Little faster than the hp version 90mm stinger. It is a fun plane, I'm happy with it, I just have to get use to it in fpv. It really feels different to me, but then the fastest I've ever flown fpv is around 80.

As it turns out, ChinaHobbyLine had a sale on LiPos a couple months ago, so I bought a couple of 1800mah, 6s batteries and a serial RX. Just waiting for them to get back in stock sometime this month.

How do you mean? This plane doesn't need any of that.

He's got the wrong thread. He posted up a new thread about this and he didn't mean rudder/ailerons. He's talking about aileron/elevator. IE, elevons.
