I just rebuilt my 90mm F 22 due to a disorientation crash...think I'll paint my Vertical Tails insignia red to improve orientation. What's the best paint to use over that foam?

Well, I kinda figured that...I shoulda been a little more detailed...My bad, Reptielenfreak. Some water based paints spray better than others, so maybe the brand and or any specific details to make it spray really well.???

For airbrushing I’ve been using Tamiya there already thinned fine for me spray consistently and cover really well.
You may have seen a few of our aerial videos showing my jets flying as seen from drone perspective, filmed by my ever faithful wingman Ernest Tuckie, but I haven't upload much of what these flights actually look like from the ground. In the air it all looks pretty intense and fast paced, but those are video edits, short clips put together. The full flights tend to be constant repetitions of the same maneuver again and again, with very thought out patterns and communication to ensure flight safety. These are some of those flights uncut, and you can hear us exchanging instructions back and forth... may not be the most thrilling stuff to watch, but it gives some further insight into how we do what we do, hope you find it interesting! ;)

So i dont know where you are from, but i get my spray can paints from the store Action. Just basic water based will be fine.
Took my F22 90mm out for Maiden today and on the takeoff roll the motor quit just as it lifted off.
As I was preparing to quickly get it back on the ground, the motor came back on again (after 3sec), full power, and the plane pitched up, stalled and crashed and is destroyed.
Brought the pieces back to the pit and when I advanced the throttle to diagnose, the ESC was in 'reverse mode' despite the transmitter not being set to reverse (have the blue ESC). I could not get it out of reverse unless I engaged reverse first on the transmitter. I have thoroughly bench tested this plane, never had an issue, although this was probably the most sustained full power run up.
I have a FrSky X18 with a data log, so went in and verified no loss in signal, no holds, no battery issues during the takeoff roll.
I don't recall loosing any flight surface controls either.
Seems to me like a junk ESC...super unfortunate.

Sorry to hear this. I have quite a few planes with that ESC and no issue. Let whoever you got it from know so they can let FreeWing know to investigate.

Definitely...have reached out to Motion RC with the explanation. Will see what they say after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Is your ESC the newer blue version with reversing?
recently bought a decal sheet for the 90mm F-22...Support said they have no location chart but look at photos. I looked on the manual but there are no images showing placement of decals anywhere. Anyone else have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Bill
