Have you flown yours yet? If so what did you find on the neutral position of the elevators? What size turbine did you use? Any feedback is much appreciated!
I don't trust the spec or turbine recommendation on MotionRC website or BH site. They show it weighs 27 lb. I put mine on Xicoy CG meter and it is 23.46 lb dry with 160 turbine. Tanks combined are 4,200cc which is about 9lb,so it is about 33lb wet

I believe the manufacturer need to fix this problem and provide the replacement retract motor assemblies to the current buyers. Also, for future buyers. Caution for the few that are already flying. The retracts may work now, but could fail and landing gears would not come down in your last flight.

Hi guys, here is an update on my experience with my Mig - 29.
5 flights of 4 minutes each over 2 days and my pipe is melted. To date I have replaced 2 main retract motors. Main wheels and brakes with JP wheels and brakes because it had no brakes out of the box. Black Horse and Motion needs to do some extensive testing on this model and give a longer period of 30 days warranty.

Did anyone have problems with not enough airflow into the turbine on this model? The way they positioned the tanks they block vital airflow into the engine. This may also be the reason for the melted thrust pipes. The pipes are cooled by airflow entering through the intake bell of the pipe and around it. We may also be loosing thrust without enough air entering the engine compartment. In general I noticed my engine is running hotter than normal and it seems most of the air is entering via the nose gear hole.
This is a bad design. I will maiden my plane the way it is but this all very worrisome.

I maidened the MiG this weekend, what an awesome flying jet! My CG ended up 10mm behind stock. I am using JP Hobby 75x25x5 brake wheels on the mains. So far after 4 flights the thrust tube is holding up fine. I am using Swiwin 140 for power and it is plenty with confident beautiful verticals.
