    This is quite amazing!
Love to see bigger jets being added to the inventory, this one would be a fantastic addition. Not sure I'd get one myself at this moment as I'm saving up for other stuff but it's precisely in the right size range to bring something more of a realistic flight without (potentially) going totally nuts with price tags.

Also great that it features the electric retracts and brakes as a stock feature, which simplifies things a lot for these kind of birds. Could see pneumatic systems making people hold back on such a model but with these components it should all be very straightforward.

I am a bit concerned too about the extensive use of CF sheeting as Twowingtj pointed out... has the jet been properly tested in the air?
A lot of CF use can wreak havoc with radio signals!

Wow, really like the paint scheme. I would take my Schwinn 80 out of my sport jet for it in a heart beat. If you need someone to try it first let me know. Take my money please etc. Hope the retract mounts are sturdy and a little concerned as well about interference with all that CF but again, wow.

      Well done Blackhorse

Quite possibly and most likely, what looks like carbon fiber is actually G10. Extreme Flight uses this technique quite extensively in their larger 3D prop planes.

G10 is glass fiber if I'm not mistaken and that's pretty transparent to RF if I'm not mistaken, so that would be reassuring.

Looks like a March of 2022 availability date at Turbines RC... thinking same at MRC

I am buying the turbine L-39 for sure. I just wish Motion would elaborate on their plans before I have to have another Black Horse jet (bought the Viper this summer) shipped from France.

Don’t forget that to be covered by the AMA you need to get a turbine waiver and actually demonstrate that you can perform their required maneuvers… in both directions.

Any more updates on when and if Motion will carry this model? Was about to pull the trigger on a pre-order from Turbines RC until it came back with a $860 shipping estimate.

When will Motion have this? I've been looking at converting the smaller black horse l39 to a turbine. Having a slightly bigger model and turbine ready would be amazing!!!!! When will we get this?????

From what I've heard, there are still multiple issues facing the facilities in Viet Nam. Raw materials are in short supply and staffing is still way below optimum.

These are hand built planes and can't be quickly made.

The lack of restocking availability has got to be affecting Motion RC sales. Out of 47 balsa ARFs currently carried, 33 have been OOS for a while.

New models like this one have had to wait.

                        Just received the BHM L39.
I am really amazed by the quality of the kit.
                        will post build progress soon.

                          The BHM L39 complete.
the Brakes are not effective on mine.
                          Ready for maiden flight
