A gaping hole is presented for the nosewheel wheel well without the gear doors installed. This not only looks bad but probably affects the flight characteristics. I fabricated a cover for the wheel well to help with this issue.

How did the nose wheel gear doors work for you? Do they fit properly (open and closed)? Here is what mine look like

I found this decal sheet supplied with my kit. I withdraw my "cheapskates" comment.

Just started the build on my NEXA T-28 (Red-White). As I was installing the aileron servo, I noticed that the covers on the servo mounting plates are white with no decal to match the wing. I checked the spare parts on the web site and found that Motion RC charges $10.00 for a decal set that includes the lettering for these mounting plates. That's what I call "Cheapskates"!Blank servo mounting plate

I have one bought it as a VQ model exactly the same probably made in the same factory. Its's a great flying bird I was using a DX9 with a as3x receiver with a Saito FG 21 in it,so it sounded great.I bought a Radiomaster Tx-20 max and er6 receiver only because I nearly lost reception with the DX9.Unfortunatly I took it off and just could keep control of it for some reason and ended up crashing. Wouldn't mind getting the Silver Nexa one,it looks good at least I could the retracts and everything in it.

I just bought one from Motion RC on impulse.
now that I have read these posts,,,”rotten truckers luck”, I guess.
This will be my first gas plane.
I bet it is a good thing I fly “Nice and Easy” like my hair color 😎.
I will update and post on my build. Probably looking at late summer or early fall to get it airborn.

And good luck finding a motor for this. Gosh it would be nice if Motion could actually carry/stock items you need to complete the ARFs they sell.
BTW This plane is ridiculously heavy. The E-flite Carbon-Z T28 costs less than half as much by the time you add everything up, And can out perform this pig by leaps and bounds.
Sorry I wasted so much money on this.

I didn't buy the plane yet, and I want to make a full evaluation of the cost when RTF. Can you share the brand or details of the retracts you are using?
    Thank you in advance

I wish this bird was out sooner, but I’m happy to say I just ordered one. I’m a huge fan of the T28, I learned how to fly using the 1.2 E-flite T28. This is a good size for this bird, got lots of ideas for the build. I’ll post any issues I have with the build, along with what I used for gear. I’ll also post a flight review, hopefully with a happy ending..🤪

I bet the 3 bladed flightline Corsair prop would look pretty good in this model

These models have been available in Europe for months now. The European site that sells them has sold out and restocked since they first popped up on the Motion site - yet they aren't here yet. Getting antsy...
