Made some progress last week. Wing surfaces hinged, servos and retracts done. First test fit with the fuselage.
So far a great kit and a lot of fun during building.

I think you could launch the Space Shuttle with that thing.

MR, Looks like you're making good progress. That motor is enormous, which prop are you planning on using? I really love the "Warhawk" and in RAF desert camo it's a beauty. Best, LB

                Hello Elbee,
thank you, doing the best I can in between working and homeschooling of my little ones. I ordered an XOAR 24x10 wood WW2 Prop pre drilled for an DLA 55. I measured it and this should fit for the motor. If this is successful I will share this with Motion as the Customer Service did not know if this will fit. 😜
I put my electrics to the fuselage yesterday. I will share a picture later today.

Definitely following. I’m thinking about the electric vs the gas and highly interested to see your setup and hopefully video. Flying 12s I assume? Also check the ply servo tray, a YouTube video shows one crashed because of little or no glue securing the tray.

                      Hi,
yes I will start with 12s 5000mAh. Ordered a Graupner 160A+ ESC, so I have Full Telemetry with radio.
I recognized that the trays for the elevator a bit weak, did not reinforce so far but I will.
Do you have a link to this You Tube, very interested in.

Some small progress, test fit the horizontal stab 1000 times, tomorrow I I will Epoxy it.

Foxbow, Welcome to Hobby Squawk, Sir. Thank you for the short video, though was the loose servo tray the 'cause' of the crash or part of the result? Glad to have you onboard. Best, LB

According to the comments in the guys video channel, he said that he neglected to check the glue and it caused the servo to lose its base which meant that when he applied inputs it was not able to allow the plane to respond to them causing the crash

It was the elevator service by the way or least what caused the crash

                                Horizontal Stab is fixed.
                                Test fitted the Prop.

Next step pushrods and tail gear.
                                  ESC arrived this week🤩.

The motor met the fuselage today.
Put my receiver and gear battery to the front, hope this will help with the CG. Did some wiring in the fuselage.
