Hi All: I did some playing around with the pylons for the drop tanks on the E Flite P-51 Mustang. I bought a second set from HH, and then carefully cut away the drop tanks, leaving just the pylons and sway braces. I then figured out the scale (1:7.52) of 500 pound bombs that were frequently dropped on missions by these aircraft, especially the 361st Fighter Group "Yellow Jackets" during the summer of 1944. I had RC Geek Chris Wolfe print them up for me, and then added nomenclature that Callie Graphics supplied. I did the finishing touches making fore and aft fuzes and the arming wires that pulled pins out when they were dropped, making them "live." Not sure if anyone has any interest or cares about this little project, but there it is, anyway.
