I'm getting ready to repaint my E-flite 80mm Phantom, and as I've posted before the scary part for me is the primer. Once you get a coat to stick, the rest is pretty routine, though time consuming if done right.
Does scuffing the foam work? It does in most any paint application, but just a little worried about damaging the outer "coat" of a molded foam piece.
BTW, jetman, have a fond place in my heart for the T-28, which I flew in 1979 in primary flight training.
hey curly i was in trawing 5 when it first was commissioned at whiting... i was a AT3 in amd avionics shop 70 to 73 probably worked on the planes u flew.. i worked on the adf (arn1) and the ics box and the vor rx (arn14) id like to say it was all older then i was but iam pretty old now a day
