  • P-51 Mustang Control Surface Throws

Are the control surface throws for a V7 P-51 Mustang correct in the manual? Mine do not have that much travel, especially the elevator. I don't see how the elevator could travel 1.6" as stated in the manual. Which hole should the clevis be in for each control surface.

Did you get help with this? I was watching Pete do a build review and he said you had to move the elevator back and forth quite a bit to loosen up the foam joint before assembly.

Also, have you considered cutting and using CA hinges or running 2 control rods off the elevator servo?

I worked the tail control surfaces and they are better now. I thought about using some 440 rod I have for the rudder and elevator. The stock rod seems a little "bendy".
