    Thanks everyone!

    1. Are all the decals already applied? Yes
    2. Is there a need to replace the stock ESC if using 4s? No
    3. Any known weakness other the the landing gear system mentioned above? Be easy on the cowl
    4. Any tips not in the manual for construction? Don't over tighten the hubcaps

One more question, how is the space for the battery? Is it restrictive or more open?

                You would need to trim.

Just wanted to say I tried the same mod on the U/C on my Cub, made the world of difference. Google brought me to this thread so thanks TiredIron.

I finally ordered my very own Cub today.

Hobby King has them on sale for $135.62 with free shipping. I had $9 in reward dollars so my cost was only$126.62. I'm pretty happy with that price.

I'm looking forward to getting this one in the air.

I was able to complete the maiden flight and and a couple follow up flights. Everything went fine and no issues to report. I used a 3s battery and it seemed fine for Cub style flying. Was able to come in very, very slow on the approach and "set" it down. Look forward to having this one in the trailer as an in between flyer for some of the others!

No I haven't but I bet a set of Timber floats would work.

Sorry to bump this older thread but does ya'lls prop free spin? When completely off the throttle the prop, just stop like it has a brake program.
