  • Bob violett is on to something. As "joe average" rc buyer 10 grand(unobtainium for most of us) is like $1000 bucks of my very hard earned discretionary income. Perhaps if I spent a grand+ on the a10 and my holy grail tomcat, alpha will send an mrc rep to my door and maiden them for me? If they call my bluff I'd have to do it. Keeping with the thread I hope to have scale bay doors, drop at least one adam bomb, with an interchangable scale string of gp 500 lb released by switch separate from the bay doors as news reel worthy as i(we) can pull off. Really looking fwd to making this one the most scale of my fleet.

Price on Banggood just got "adjusted" to $263.00US and still not finalized yet. That chill in my leg is starting to warm up. Will have to see what the finalized price will be.

            Thank you! She looks fantastic!

I can't wait to see the olive drab version of the Dynam. I'm really not a huge fan of the silver paint. I bet the OD version's going to look a lot better.

            • I plan to redo the "skin" as I do with all my Dynams to smooth it out. Silver is an easy canvas. Looking forward to everyone's improvements and schemes. I just hope the ESC don't stutter as most of my Dynams did. Lots of reprogramming to eliminate what the factory could easily fix, but Dynams are what they are- cheap good flyers with tons of potential.

              • Estimated pricing and wishful thinking can sure cause some grief (fms a10, fw a10..anyone..anyone..) that said I wish this one can be in the $230ish range like the me262. (Dont always get what you wish for..still dont have a pony.) Some internet searching shows a ton of schemes and nose art. Valkyrie might win over flakbait.

Nobody here was "estimating" on pricing. Price was posted on the Banggood site and was the only thing anyone had to go on. They clearly stated that the price was "not the final price, will update soon". Currently up to $263.00US from $200.00US. It would be nice if the final price came down but these sorts of things only go up.

The Martin B-26 Marauder was a medium bomber from World War 2 that was used extensively by Allied forces in raids over Europe including during the June 6th 1944 D-Day invasion of Normandy, France. Over 5,000 were produced between 1941 and 1945 (operated by USA, France - Free French, UK and South Africa) and the last…

If you happen to have a copy of Martin Caiden's 'The Ragged Rugged Warriors', the book ends with the 'other' battle of Midway. The B-26's along with several other types based on Midway were sent out to attack the Japanese fleet. The Marauders had a torpedo slung underneath them. The description of the attack and what the crewmen went through is just plain Brutal

Alpha said it can fit a 5000. I think it will go 6 minutes on a 4000. I really need 7 minutes for Apollo field as that is usually how long our missions last. I have changed out the motors on some of my Dynam planes to bigger 32 size 4230's and the efficiency goes way up. My Hellcat can go almost 8 minutes on mixed throttle and a 4000 battery. Granted a three blade prop not a 4 blade. Anyway, not too much full throttle with bombers flying formation.

Most of the stories off B26.com and EAA's timeless voices can talk about how bad the crews got shot up. Just look at the flak jackets on Ginger in the pictures above. Most Marauder pilots didn't rotate home after 25 missions either. Of course, most didn't last 25 missions. The attrition rate was pretty bad.
