  • Warship Requests!

USS Texas (BB-35), 1/200 scale. Not just because I'm partial to Texas but a significant historical "Dreadnought" class.

More “Firsts” than any Ship in the U.S. Navy.

The First U.S. Navy Vessel to House a Permanently Assigned Contingent of U.S. Marines.

The First U.S. Ship to Control Gunfire with Directors and Range-keepers.

The First U.S. Battleship to Mount Anti-aircraft Guns and the First to Launch an Aircraft from it’s Deck.

One of the First in the U.S. Navy to Receive the CXAM-1 Production Radar.

The First U.S. Battleship to Become a Permanent Museum Ship.

The First Battleship Declared a U.S. National Historic Landmark.

Only surviving Dreadnought class Battleship. Fought in WWI and WWII.

A line of Destroyer Escort (DE) class ships in the 1/200 size could help bring some hobbyists into the warship realm that have smaller budgets to work with. They would be easily transportable as well.

This was my father's ship during the Korean War. DE 534 USS Silverstien.

I always was a fan of the Great White Fleet era of ships. Both British and American.

I agree, a USS Arizona must and will happen. The giant static model at the Arizona Memorial's visitor center is gorgeous!

How about a 1/16 scale LCAC for highspeed delivery of an M1 Abrams! Or the new M60 that needs to be produced!

1/16 German Pioneer Landungsboot (PiLb) or landing craft for the non-Allied tanker fans out there.

German PiLP39 or PiLB40 developed originally for Operation Seeleow but used throughout the war in the Eastern Front. Challenge would be it is only suitable for earlier tanks & soft skin vehicles.

If you really want to think outside the box how about an Marinefährprahm (MFP) or Siebelfähre?

1/16 G-5 Soviet Torpedo Boat (Don't forget those rivets!)

I saw today that the Russian Navy just raised one that has been sunk in Crimea for the past 78 years. The hull is in incredible condition. 😲

The Russian Navy has raised a torpedo boat sunk during World War Two. The G-5 class boat was made for speed. It was actually built a lot like an aircraft without the wings.

Yes! The existing 16 boats posted on Motion RC's website are just the initial shipment. More boats and ships will be added over the coming weeks and months. The models will have different ETAs, so please check the product page carefully.
