I own four Mato's; M4 Sherman, M36 Jackson, Panzer III and StuG III. They are great for casual use, and I have used them in outdoor IR battles. They do have their idiosyncrasies though. I've found the track pins can drift out under heavy use, just something to check after battles. They're great subjects for weathering, since if you want to redo one, just strip the paint off down to the metal.
I've modified them to run with Heng Long 7.1 MFU's to be IR compatible with other tanks. The metal features such as hatches and external details are very good. They're cast metal but seem stronger than what they produces some years ago. The gearboxes are robust metal, and are geared lower than Heng Long's, a nice feature for WW2 tanks.
