  • Tirediron Aviation Fall Fly-In Oct 20-22

I know it's short notice but I thought maybe some Squawkers may be in the area and want to drop in...

I would like to invite everyone to our fall fly-in at my place, we will start flying Friday Oct 20 around noon and continue until Sunday Oct 22 evening. I plan to fix my Low Country Boil on Saturday evening, if you want to bring something else there'll be a food prep area setup.

Again, everyone is welcome no matter what you fly we have room for you, we also have plenty of room for camping and will probably have a campfire Friday and Saturday nights.

If I lived closer I would take you up on that offer. I hope the weather is warm and no rain. Happy flying.

TI that's a little outa range for me but appreciate the invite. I hope y'all have good weather a great time flying and good time just being together. I also hope y'all are able to keep the carnage to a minimum.

We'll probably do a Facebook Live video feed on the TiredIron Aviation FB group.

This group is for those interested in all aspects of RC flying, we're located in East Tennessee but welcome anyone that enjoys the hobby. https://goo.gl/maps/qiGzsStbeTB2.

Brad, the Aeros are having thier annual Chili Fly Saturday the 21st from 10-5. It's free and there will be lots of good food and flying. Looks like 70 Deg and light and variable winds. Bring your AMA card and whatever you want to fly. All size and type of aircraft welcome. OV10, you'll be here won't you?

Would love to come down too George, but bit of a haul.

Speaking of which...I got the Corsair back together and flew it today...the prop strike on your receiver was so hard it broke two ears off the motor mount (metal X) :Scared:
