Western States Electric Fun Fly-Apollo XI Field (San Fernando Valley, CA)-6/24/17
This Saturday our local RC flying field has a Western States Electric Fun Fly event from 8am-5pm (you may want to arrive earlier though). This is an all electric event, and if you plan to fly it looks like there is a $15 landing fee. There is a park flyer area, helicopter area, and a 600FT paved runway with taxiways for larger fixed wing aircraft, as well as a 12V charging area.
Hopefully it's a good turnout and has some fun aircraft involved. It would be great to see folks there from this forum. If you are passing by the area, or just want to take the drive to fly, it would be incredible to have you.
