Loss of Signal

I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of anything like this happing. I just recently got the RunCam2 and we all know it has WIFI. Well I was curious on how far the signal would work. Instead on trying it on the ground I went ahead and bound it to my phone and turned it on and mounted it to my plane and I had no sooner got out good I started having issues. I have had this plane for over 3 years and have never had an issue like this at all. There were throttle issues and control surfaces. Luckily, I did get it on the ground and with the throttle cut off and no hands on it the throttle ran up and down several times. I turned the WIFI and then had no issues with it afterwards.
