  • CG on foam models

I flew gas balsa models for years and CG was always critical.

I got back into the hobby a couple of years ago and my how things have changed!

I’ve noticed with the foam electric models that they are either very nose heavy or very tail heavy

I reached out to Verizon hobby’s and I was told that CG on foam models is not as important as it was on balsa

I have an Eflite pitts and 1.2 Mustang
On both of these models it took over 2 ounces on the tail to balance them
    They fly a lot better.

I wanted to ask your findings so far as How critical CG is on foam models.

Thanks for your time and help
