We've had a few questions about what happened to our prices. Make sure you subscribe to our email list. We sent out the following email this morning:
Dear Motion RC Customer Family in North and South America,
As you know food, gas, energy, and virtually everything you buy cost substantially more than a year ago. While many Motion RC costs have continued to increase, we have seen a recent reduction in cost in two specific areas. First, ocean shipping container prices, while still triple what they once were, are down 50% from their peak. Second, the current strength of the US dollar gives Motion RC a bit more buying power with our strategic partners. While many companies are retaining these types of savings to boost their profits, Motion RC has decided to pass the savings on to our customers. However, we want to do even more! Freewing and Motion RC have worked together to discover additional efficiencies and ultimately “tighten our belts” to pass even more savings on to our customers. We realize the current inflation situation is stressful for all of you so Freewing and Motion RC are working diligently to ensure that our customer family can enjoy this hobby as much as possible. To that end, we are reducing the price of nearly all Freewing and Flightline airplane models effective immediately. These price reductions are not only on old planes but new releases as well.
We anticipate that this price reduction will create a surge in sales, so we apologize in advance for any stock shortages. Please know the teams at Motion RC and Freewing will work diligently to replenish inventory as soon as possible. In addition, please be mindful that we are unable to make these price decreases retroactive, but know that you will be getting a great deal on your next plane.
While all of us at Motion RC and Freewing hope these price cuts will be permanent, multiple factors beyond our control may necessitate a future price adjustment. We will continue to do everything in our power to keep these lower prices as long as possible.
Please be aware that these price adjustments are for Motionrc.com customers only. We continue to seek similar opportunities for our Motionrc.eu customers despite the economic and geopolitical challenges throughout the European region.
