Just picked up a FW EF2000 TYPHOON (version1) used from someone who built it but never flew it. With 6c 4000mah 60C batteries it balanced perfect, 4 1/2 minute flights. First three flights were awesome. Flies and lands as easy as the F-86. Now I'm getting used to the thrust vectoring. The only thing I don't like is the mechanical retracts. Mains failed on taxi tests and nose gear failed on 3rd landing. All three servos swapped with metal gear servos. Will the newer version electronic retracts work as a direct bolt in? I'm not worried about the gear doors.
