Freewing avanti s or L39, top speed and performance wise ?

I have both and my Avanti has a Jetfan 8S set up in it. The Avanti is now faster than the Albatross as you would expect. But not that much and the Albatross is more fun for me. You can't go wrong with either one but for me the Albatross is the winner.

Jakob I agree with Evan D, in my opinion I love both of these jets but if I had to choose only one, I would go for the L-39 Albatros.

I have both the Avanti and the L-39. Both are solid Flyers, but I do prefer the L-39. I think the L-39 is smoother over all, really looks good in the air!

I have both the Avanti and the l39 camo version, and I agree with the other replies, i would much rather fly my l39, and as far as speed goes, I live at 5000ft. Elevation,, and one of our other club members clocked the l39 flying downwind low over the runway at 119mph, I also did it with my Avanti and he clocked it at 109mph, and my Avanti is the 6s version, and the l39 is much more fun to fly.
