  • FlightlineRC Spitfire down.

Wish I had video, it was pretty neat to watch.

Right as I was starting to flare the let wing dropped and dragged the runway, it was like a knife edge dragging the wing. I managed to save it somehow and when it landed I broke the spinner and the left landing gear. $20 in parts so not too bad but it bums me out that it happened.

The plane was twitchy as heck, not fun to fly at all! Way too sensitive on all controls, I went from 30% expo to 60%, didn't seem to help at all. The plane balanced at 2 7/8" like the manual says but flying it took +60 clicks of up elevator trim. I'm using an Admiral 4S 3600mAh battery.

I have a question, probably for the guys from MotionRC. The left retract while working now has a grinding sound in it. I wanted to order a new retract but I have two choices on the spare parts page, a type A and a type C.

The manual did not give me an indication of which one the plane uses. If I don't get a response here I'll call Motion on Tuesday.
