Anyone who has owned or still owns a FW P-51 knows that you can't (couldn't) just buy a replacement door, but had to buy the complete gear door set. This left me with a drawer full of clam shell doors and tail wheel doors along with broken main gear doors. Now with TinkerCad and 3D printing, I set out to solve the problem of replacing the pins and came up with a workable solution. After kicking around various ideas as to how to repair the gear door hinges, I went with 'simpler is better.'

It just slides over the existing door and glues into place!

So simple! It took a little sanding and scraping but it works, a little E6000 and when she's dry they should be usable. I enlarged the slot slightly to allow an easier fit, but these worked very well.
