  • Scale Tail Rotor for Apache 700

Hello all. With pictures from a couple of other guys who have done scale tail rotor conversions I have tried to do my own. But I have a question for smarter people than I. I have utilized the stock slider assembly from the Roban Apache 700. I have used two align 600 tail rotor assemblies and a longer tail rotor shaft to create the new scale roter. But as the video below shows, the part of the tail slider that the balls are screwed into is able to rotate back and forth. Is this an issue in flight? My assumption is that once the tail is in motion centrifugal force will keep it from rotating the other way. But as Forrest Gump once said “I am not a very smart man” when it comes to this stuff. So keep the bashing to a minimum please. And if anyone else has done this conversion and could help me with parts etc. I would be really grateful.
