You might check with Dan Gross. He and I have been working together with some projects including 3D printed pilots. He has been painting them and in my view, is a master.Originally posted by NCO Retired View PostDon't have that study hand anymore, anyone know of a figure painter that does? Thanks

Super! I used to paint my own figures and my wife did some, but Dan was just unbeatable in the quality of painting that he does. You can see some of his works on Hobbysquawk, under name Dan Gross. Here is a recent photo of a pilot bust he did for me for my new Flightline P-51D 1.6M plane.Originally posted by NCO Retired View Post
Thank you Dave, I will follow that up. Ed

Hi guys!
NCO Retired, if you want to send me some figures, I can see what I can do. I'll PM you my E mail address and we can work out the details.
Here's my Corsair pilot, he's a 1/7th (?) scale, most of the others are about 1/8th so I'm looking at half the size. Should be a problem.

Sounds great, Rex. I don't see any reason why those settings shouldn't work just fine in your aircraft. Fortunately, the P-47 is a very stable and pretty easy to fly aircraft with wide tracking landing gear that usually don't make for too many negaitve surprises. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you have a great test flight with your plane and many more happy flights after that! Please let me know how it went!Originally posted by jetfool View PostDave,
I have my P-47 ready with new radio, using your set-up %. hopefully this week at a larger, open space local r/c field. Will report after the test flight.
Best Regards, Rex
Cheers
