E-Flight Timber Version 1

Hello. I am in search of a controller for the original E flight timber airplane. I have one that my son has been using to learn to fly on and it has taking a beating. It will no longer connect to my radio. I have contacted their support and they walked me through everything that could be done to try to get it to work. They said it looked like it was bad. so I’m looking to purchase another used plane or just a controller if someone has one laying around?

Just buy another Spektrum radio, The AS3X AR636A receiver is nothing more than a regular receiver with stabilization and can be programed for safe.

Hello RRhandy. Thank you for your response. Do I need to buy a transmitter? Are use a spectrum DX8. I can just buy the receiver, correct?

Question, is it the receiver or the transmitter giving you problems?

It was the receiver. It would not bind any longer with my transmitter. I got hold of technical support, and they walked me through everything to try to get it to work. They concluded that it had just failed. I have been looking at the receivers that you talked about. That might be a solution. Thank you.

If you do get one, try to get it from another Timber, don't really matter the version of Timber.
