  • HRB Lipos??

I am wanting to buy some 6s lipos for my E-flite Carbon Z T28, looking at some HRB 6s 6000.Anyone had any experience with them?

Not going to get into brands...

I recommend against a single 6S pack in favor of putting 2 X 3S packs in series.

ESPECIALLY for high demand applications, the center cells of a 6S can't cool well enough. In my 12S EDF applications, putting 4X 3S in series gave 3 years battery service life where a pair of 6S in series gave 6 months. (same brand, mah and C rating)
    > 350 charge-discharge cycles in excess of 20C average demand for the 4 X 3S in series.
< 50 charge-discharge cycles for the 2X 6S in series. Same model, same basic style of flying.

If it didn't mean such a complex custom wire harness I'd use 3S 2200 mah for everything, with packs in a parallel-series arrangement to get up to the 4400 mah 12S. More surface area for cooling means the packs stay cooler and cool faster when pulled out of the model.
Its easy to put 2 to 4 packs in series.
