Has anyone tried these batteries in a freewing jet like the a10 80mm, or rebel v2? im wondering if they are just as good or if not better than admirals.

My GensAce are sitting in storage now and I use the R/T 5000/5500 in 45 and 70C capacities in all of my F/W and FMS 80mm and 90mm EDF's. Can see no current reason to ever change from using R/T packs; mine come down barely warm, no puffing has occurred even though I take down to 3.7v at times. I am religious about taking down to storage voltage if not using within four days.

I've been using the RT 5800 35Cs in most of my jets, and they work fantastic. The thing I like about them best is they weigh just as much, and sometimes less, than most 5000 packs on the market. These packs have a low IR, and test out on my ESR meter right around 18-22C true output. Even at 20C true they will put out 116 amps all day without breaking a sweat, and most of my jets are only pulling 80-100A at WOT. They never come down hot, and most of the time barely even warm. I also use 6250 35Cs in some jets as well, like the A-4 and Me-262. If you ask me, you're wasting your money going with the 70C packs. The 35C work great in everything.
All together I have about 15 of the RT packs, and after over a year of flying on some of them, I've not had a single one go bad or drop a cell, and not the first one of them has ever puffed. I'm totally sold on these packs.Pat
