  • GT Power 250W 20A Dual Output Power Supply

Does anyone own this and have a true reading of output voltage?  On the webpage for the charger, it lists the voltage at:
    AC Input: 100—240V 50/60Hz
    DC Output: 17V 20A 250W

When I look at the picture of the unit, I see it lists 12V.  I would prefer that it output 17 volts as many times when under a load (charging a battery) the voltage may drop a couple volts.  So if it is at 17 and drops a volt or two, it should allow the charger to perform at max capability.  With a 2 volt drop on only 12 volts, so chargers may not function properly.

So, if anyone would be so kind to let me know, I would appreciate your help.

    Thank you,
    Vince/Palm Harbor, FL

That '17V' has got to be a typo in the ad. Other than that figure, the other 2 (20A 250W) are the output specs for the unit itself _AT_ 12V so......

Just as it also says (in the ad) the items included include a 250W 20A Dual Output Charger.
My money's on you didn't get a charger - you got a power supply FOR a charger.
