2200mAh 3 Cell Increase?

Bummer!!
Economics strike again!!!

It appears that the popular 2200mAh 3-cell Admiral LiPo batteries are up in price by $2.00.

I was hopeful that the 2200mAh being one of the most frequently purchased LiPos would be able to maintain it cost effectiveness through volume sales. Oh, well.

Yea but they're still cheaper than lots of other "name brand" batteries that cost $35 to $45 and I think the admiral batteries are just as good for half the price.

Just bought 4s 2200 for the Cessna 188 and was surprised at the price. I think from this in the future when I need to replace a battery Admiral will be how I go.

It may be of interest to you and it may not but, I have had excellent longevity and performance from Turnigy LiPos'.

I also use Admirals which at one time I preferred however, for price and performance I now lean toward the Turnigy's.

It is odd that we the consumer never seem to see the benefit of lower commodity costs or the devaluation of overseas currency. We almost see an instant price adjustment when the cost go up.

I'd have thought that with China's devaluation of the Yuan the cost of these made in China products would be lowered by 10% or more.

Agreed, it is doutful however, it sure would be nice for a change to catch a price break here and there.

I've used Turnigy and I have some AGA's, which I think are wickedly exspensive. Both have worked well but I like dealing with one company and right now it seems Motion going to be it for now.

You will love the Dusty !! I have the blue one and its fun to fly . But don't use the flaps , for me it was too hard to get down just wanted to float forever .
