    Promoting Model Aviation to the Public

    Positive media coverage is a great way to showcase our hobby to the general public. It shows that we are responsible modelers and passionate about what we do.

    It can also have other benefits like bringing spectators to our events and maybe even inspire others to check the hobby out. If you are with a club, it can also attract new members.

    There are a lot of different ways to get that positive media coverage. This thread could be a place where we can share examples or ideas. .

    We have found most of the local media to be both approachable and supportive, especially if you are holding an event to benefit a charity.

    Here is an example:
    You can go and watch some of the largest radio controlled aircrafts take to the skies over the historic Chenango Bridge Airport. It's hosted by the Binghamton Aeros and we went to the airport ahead of the event to learn more.
