one seems to recognize this ESC
for my heli ION2 made by minature aircraft
13 yrs ago. I have two 18.5v lipro in serious
There rated at 4350mha at 30c sustained
50c burst,dont know what brusshless is
On the heli label fell off long ago,he'd hehe'Hobby King set me up with a YEP 120A
but it wount turn on,made sure throttle was
At zero,tryed rev that text back and forth to
Customer service while heli was in front of
Me hooked up to YEP120 ESC we got nowhere can anyone help?

You indicate that you are using 5S (18.5v) batts in series which makes them a 10S power system with a 4350mAh current capacity.
It could be that the ESC is not capable of 10S operation

Castle still makes 12S rated ESCs. Not the older versions which were less expensive. I have 2 big EDFs with the ICE 100 12S. The newer versions are VERY expensive. I have 2 of the Castle Phoenix Edge 120 HV.

I have a couple of Turnigy Super Brain 100 amp 12S rated that have been working well for years. But I have not pushed them past 8S 90 amps. That might be the way to go They are still physically bigger than the old ICE 100 12S rated.
