  • L_39 Landing gear Issue

HI, I have a L-39 and it was very happy with it but suddenly the landing gear stated with issues. During a flight when trying to land, the gears didn't open and had to belly land, when i reviewed it and the gear open on the ground and after that it opens randomly.
    Any idea?
    Thanks

Are the gear loose between the strut and retract unit? The set screws may be loose. Could the pin be bent, did you have a hard landing?

Look in the retract mechanics and there is a jack screw that move a slider along to extend or retract the strut. Take and apply a little grease on the jack shaft. Lithium is best but even vaseline will work.

Are all three gear not going down if that is the case I would che k for a loose connection in the retrac wiring starting at the receiver. Check for loose or bent pins .
