4s on this motor

Hi. Does this brushless work with 4S lipos? Old one i guess but might as well use it. Can i also use
a 4 cell lipo if the motor is for 5-6 cell?

Yes to both as long as you use an appropriate sized load (prop) and don’t exceed reasonable amps.

Okay. reasonable amps You mean the esc, right? Would an 30-40 amp esc be enough?

How many watts and amps is the motor spec’ed for?

Doesn’t have the motor home now but will check next time i’ll go to my father in laws work place. Don’t have the space at my house:) Thinking of testing the motor setup with prop, and a wattmeter next time.

Just purchased this one coming next week. Should run 4S with 9x5 prop.
