  • Esc or battery connected receiver?

I’m wondering if I should use a esc to receiver setup or is there an option for just a battery connected receiver? I’m building a nexa tiger moth and will be pairing it with a saito fg11 gas engine. I’ve yet to find a receiver with battery leads. I’m obviously new to these builds.

Old school is to use a NiMh through a switch. Another choice would be a 2S LiFe battery and the same switch.

Perfect! That sounds like the setup I’m looking for.
