New ESC and motor, ESC end point calibration completed per instructions. Motor runs as expected with no prop but as soon as prop is installed and any amount of throttle is applied the prop just vibrates like it is bouncing between forward and reverse. Online manual does not cover this issue or mention the reversing function of this ESC.

While attempting to program the timing I noticed the ESC was getting HOT, like 140F and climbing. I disconnected everything and let it cool to room temp then plugged only the 4S battery into the unit, in only a few seconds it was warm to the touch and with no load the temp went to 125F. I think this ESC is defective.
