Field Battery

Hi,
I am setting up my field box and would like to know what type of field battery I should use.
The field battery will be used to charge up the lipo batteries for my planes.
I have the Great Planes Master Caddy box.
What are the pro/con for gel cell vs. sealed lead acid batteries?

Lead acid if tipped over, may leak, bumped hard or dropped, lead plate may break. Gel battery in my opinon is a better choice. More robust
